Christa S. Urban, Principal
Christa Urban is the Principal of Odenville Elementary School. Mrs. Urban received her Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University in 1996, her Master of Arts from the University of Alabama in 1999 and the Educational Administration Certificate from Jacksonville State University in 2001. Before becoming the principal of Odenville Elementary School, Mrs. Urban taught 1st grade at Moody Elementary and Kindergarten at Glencoe Elementary and Chelsea/Mt. Laurel Schools, and was Assisitant Principal at Odenville Elementary School.
Mrs Urban is married to Andy Urban who teaches and coaches in the Hoover City School System. They have one son, Brayden who is 4. In Mrs. Urban's spare time, she enjoys family and friends, gardening, shopping, going to the beach, exercising and any type of sporting event.

It is within our kid frindly environment that we at Odenville Elementary School hope to inspire our children to become life long learners and contributing members of society. The TEAM of teachers, students and parents at Odenville Elementary School has proven and will continue to prove that "TOGETHER" we can accomplish many things. Students learn best when they are supported in a positive environment where success is expected and encouraged.
